I participated in the CFA Institute Research Competition where my team of two other UNT students created a valuation report of our region’s given company, CECO Environmental (CECE US). Throughout composing the report, we got to meet with the CEO and CFO of the company. We also were mentored by industry mentors who gave us valuable insight into the company’s industry. This report was created over the course of a couple of months and was submitted for review on February 6, 2022. Our team was chosen as 1 of 8 finalists of the Southwest U.S. region and we gave a presentation on our findings to the CFA Institute judges on February 26, 2022.
